The company was originated in California's Silicon Valley in November 2020. Its inception was inspired by talented people. The idea to work alongside founders of high-tech startups to nurture companies' early growth is the foundation of this adventure.
Since November 2025, Respica Ventures has been managing the Respica's Snark VC Fund with focus on cash flow positive seed stage AI tech startups with breakthrough technology and global ambition. The fund will provide equity financing for selected startup companies. The fund focuses solely on the US-based startups.

Prior to founding Respica Ventures, Alex organized several businesses, advised on fundraising to tech founders. As a part of the executive team, he ran business development of a California's Silicon Valley-based startup which raised $30M in venture capital while targeting a valuation of $1 billion. Alex seasoned his skills when he served as a chief analyst at a leading venture capital and private equity fund with about $10 billion under management to invest in high-tech nanotechnology projects.
He holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Applied Mathematics and Physics from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University), Russia, Department of Innovation and High Technology.
